I adhere to a strength-based, supportive, and collaborative approach to therapy. Counseling is client driven and respectful. My genuine compassion towards others is what drives my desire to continue to help others. An eclectic approach helps when challenging negative processes and thoughts that are keeping people stuck in a place that is uncomfortable for them and help them achieve a higher state of peace in their lives. I received my degree in social work at Loyola University in 1997 and continued to work in a public setting, including the school system and mental health facility, and began in the private setting. I have enjoyed over 25 year of work with clients of all ages. Currently I reach out to adolescents and adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, stress in their lives, life transitions, divorce, and women’s issues to name a few. I enjoy team work and practice with an excellent group of specialists including a psychiatrist, pediatric nurse practitioner, psychologists, behavior specialists, and clinicians. Together with family and good clinical expertise we can make a difference in your lives.
