I am a licensed clinical social worker that is passionate about helping children, adolescents and adults address a range of challenges in their lives. These challenges can include anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, anger, autism, social skills, and general life transitions. In addition to individual therapy, I also provide group therapy for children and adolescents. Being a parent myself, I have great empathy for those that struggle with parenting issues.
With over 25 years of working in a school system, I can help parents advocate for their child’s needs within that system. I am a strength-based therapist that brings empathy, warmth, humor and collaboration into the therapeutic relationship. I tend to come from a cognitive-behavioral therapy perspective but I also like to use solution-focused therapy to help clients feel better in their lives. Reaching out for help can be a difficult thing but together we can bring about the changes you desire.
