Brandi Gries a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over ten years of experience working with mental health, dual diagnosis, trauma and behavioral issues. Brandi also has experience working with children, adolescent and adult clients. She received her Master of Arts Degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Sociology from Elmhurst University. Brandi has held a variety of positions, providing direct services for non-profit agencies, a residential treatment center, community crisis center and domestic violence shelter. She spent the last three and half years working as an outpatient therapist for a community mental health center and private practice.
Brandi has been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Trauma-Informed Care for the evaluation and treatment of children, adolescents and adults. She also has experience with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, oppositional/defiant behaviors, self-esteem, self-injury, trauma, PTSD, grief and loss.
